About Crittersoup

I know, it's an odd name. But here is the story behind it:
I am from Las Vegas, yes, Sin City. I wanted to move to a place where it resembled Little House on the Prairie. I wanted butterflies, green fields, seasons, the whole nine yards. So, in 1993, my 2 daughters and I moved to Georgia. In 1999, I decided to buy the house on the hill with the green fields. So, again we moved, but this time we moved to the Georgia/Alabama line. There was no subdivision, no trash service, no mailman, no paved roads, and lots of farm animals. It had rained a lot one day that October, and after it rained, I stood on the front porch to look around at the view. A cow or a horse, I think it was a horse, had busted the screen off my kitchen window and was eating the apples I had in a bowl on the table. I heard cows mooing, lots of them. I look down the road towards the creek, and here comes a dog. This was the biggest dog I had ever seen! He was huge and white and was being followed by a hurd of goats. Oh wait, it gets better. So, I take a little stroll to the road and here comes a mama pig with 3 little piggies following her. How cute! So, stupid me, thougt it would be cool to hug one of the baby piggies. Not a smart thing to do. The mama pig charged me, grunting a horrible noise! I jumped in the back of my truck as fast as I could so I wouldn't get attacked. Then, it started to rain again. Here I am, in the bed of a truck, soaking wet, muddy, and being yelled at by a pig. I thought to myself, "Oh my gosh, I just moved my daughters into a huge crittersoup!". That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

p.s. I didn't tell you about the wild Emu's they have running around out here. An Emu is an ostrich with a very bad attitude. Don't get me started again! LOL.
